A special, limited edition bundle, containing Basa MEAD and Basa BOCHET, (our take on the traditional bochet recipe, made with caramalised honey).
BASA is made in collaboration with Basingstoke Honey, a small scale local producer of raw honey, managing 3 apiaries across the Basingstoke area.
It is named in honour of Basa, the leader of the Saxon Basinga tribe who is believed to have settled in the area around 700AD. Our modern town name of Basingstoke is thought to dervive from the Basinga.
Limited Edition Basa BUNDLE
Our small batch fermentation process means we see small variations in ABV between batches. The Basa Mead is fermented to 15% ABV and the Basa Bochet to 13.5% ABV.
Basa Mead uses Raw Basingstoke Honey. Basa Bochet uses caramelised Basingstoke Honey.
