Basa Mead is a traditional-style mead made in collaboration with Basingstoke Honey, using raw honey sourced from three local apiaries. Each batch is a unique expression of the season, with subtle flavour variations reflecting the changing blossoms and forage available to the bees. Named after Basa, the Saxon leader of the Basinga tribe, this mead is a tribute to local heritage and the natural rhythms of the land. Produced as a limited edition, typically just once per year.
 
Our current batch, from the 2025 harvest, is brewed to a medium consistency and is 16% ABV.
