  • A traditional mead, made in collaboration with Basingstoke Honey, a small scale local producer of raw honey, managing 3 apiaries across the Basingstoke area.

It is named in honour of Basa, the leader of the Saxon Basinga tribe who is believed to have settled in the area around 700AD.

Our modern town name of Basingstoke is thought to dervive from the Basinga.

This is a sweet mead, with honey root beer tones and is a perfect dessert drink.
